Women Donating to the Trump Campaign In related news, Newsweek reported that nearly half of President’s Trump's 2020 campaign contributions this year have come from female donors. The Trump campaign raised $1.47 million in donations from women across the country in the first quarter of 2019, according to an analysis by the Center for Responsive Politics. The report is based only on donors who made itemized contributions of over $200. Around the FederationThe New Jersey Federation of Republican Women hosted their 89th Annual Meeting at the Eatontown Sheraton honoring 2019 Woman of the Year Eve R. Hershkowitz of Monmouth County. The Alaska Federation of Republican Women's biennial convention was held April 27 at the historic Pioneer School House in Anchorage. Congrats to new officers Lisa Gabriel (President), Glenese Pettey (VP), Harmony Rowe (Secretary), and Johna Beech (Treasurer) and to outgoing president Pamela Raygor. The convention included an update from U.S. Sen. Dan Sullivan and a leadership training workshop with NFRW Immediate Past President Carrie Almond. The Texas Federation of Republican Women welcomed just under 600 members to Legislative Day at the state Capitol on April 25. TFRW was recognized in both the state Senate and House with resolutions, participated in engaging workshops, and enjoyed a luncheon with dynamic speakers like RNC Chair Ronna McDaniel and state elected officials.
